SH6 Closed in Southern District, 10:00am

At approximately 10:10am today, a crash occurred on State Highway 6 at Limehills, North of Winton (also known as the Centre Bush Road).

The crash involved two trucks, one being an articulated truck and trailer unit, and the other a bulk spreader.
As a result the road will be closed until a heavy crane is used to clear the scene.

Diversions are in place on Derby and Pisa Roads.

The road is expected to be closed for some hours more.

The extent of injuries (if any) is not yet known.

Motorists are urged to please be patient whilst emergency services work hard at dealing with the scene.
