Neil Kerrison (Taranaki) produced a strong second place performance at the NSW Championships, held approximately 80km out of Dubbo.

Kerrison was around 10 minutes behind first placed Dave Shephard of Australia, who is a consistent top performer for Australia internationally. Kerrison was "stoaked" with his performance considering what he deemed to be a pretty poor preperation.

Just under 20 seconds behind Kerrison was Karl Dravitzki (Taranaki), who placed 4th. Between the Kerrison-Dravitzki sandwich was the meat of Rob Preston of Sydney, who was 10 seconds behind Kerrison.
