Arrest in Upper Hutt home invasion

An 18-year-old Upper Hutt man has been arrested and charged following a home invasion on Sunday night during which a woman was sexually assaulted.

Detective Sergeant Tony Heathcote, Upper Hutt CIB, said the arrest was made [yesterday] afternoon.

The man will appear in the Upper Hutt District Court today morning charged with burglary and indecent assault.
