Crash closes road near Waikanae

5.15pm - There has been a two car head on crash on a bridge just South of Waikanae. No serious injuries, however both lanes on State Highway One are closed until the vehicles can be moved. This is causing traffic delays in both directions. There are no detours avaliable at this stage. Expected time of delay approx 15 minutes at the scene but will be a delayed backlog of traffic.
