Fatal Crash, Truck v Motor Cycle in Waitakere City, 7:15pm 10 Mar 2009

A 40 year old Henderson man is dead after the Motorcycle he was riding was hit by a Foden Truck at the 'T'-intersection of Scenic Drive, Swanson and Waitakere Roads. The Foden truck had been travelling west on Swanson Road and turned right onto Waitakere Road into the path of the Motorcycle which had been eastbound on Scenic Drive. The accident occurred at about 2.20 pm on Tuesday 10th March 2009.
Police are seeking any witness's whose details were not taken at the scene, to contact Takapuna Police on 09 4886200, attention Senior Constable Gary Abbott of the Auckland Serious Crash Unit.
