Two car crash on Mt Bruce

On Wednesday 11th of March at about 8.40pm there was a two car head on collision on SH 2, near the top of Mount Bruce.

The drivers of both vehicles were trapped in their vehicles and had to be cut free by Fire personnel. They both sustained serious but not life threatening injuries. One was taken thorugh to the Masterton Hospital and the other was air lifted by helicopter to Palmerston North Hospital.

The Police Serious Crash Unit, and Police Photography were called to the scene and the reason for the crash is being investigated.
