Wanted Person in Christchurch

William Alexander Stewart aged 47 years has been sighted in the Wigram area of Christchurch.
Stewart is wanted by police as he has 5 outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Stewart is a caucasian male 177cms tall, thin build, with long straggly hair. He is in an unkempt condition.
At about 6.00am this morning he abandoned a vehicle in Wigram Road Christchurch. Police advise that he should not be approached and would like to hear from anybody who may have seen him in the area.
