Fatal crash in Wainui

At about 5.30p.m. this evening Police attended a motor vehicle collision on Wainui Road, Wainui.
Only one vehicle was involved in the incident and the sole female occupant aged in her 50s died at the scene.
Police are currently attempting locate family members and the Waitemata Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
Restricted traffic flow is expected to be lifted in the near future.
