Police and other emergency services are currently at the scene of a road crash on State Highway 39 (SH39), Ngaruawahia, in the Waikato District.
The crash involves a truck unit that has overturned losing its load of wooden planks.
Although the truck driver suffered only minor injuries SH39 will be closed for a period of time while the truck and discarded load are recovered.
Motorists intending to use SH39 (both North and Southbound) are advised to use Horotiu Road to bypass the crash scene .
