Police Release Images Of Two Suspects

North Shore Police have released images of a male and a female who are being sought for interview after an incident in which a police constable was run down in Takapuna.

Detective Sergeant Craig McCormack says the pair were sighted in a retail business outlet at Westgate at about 1.30pm yesterday afternoon.

The male was dressed in shorts only with no other clothing. The female was wearing a white top with shorts. A description of these two persons has previously been issued. The names of the two suspects are:

MALE: HETA / Sheean Leroy

Aged 23 years

Resident of Otara

FEMALE: PHILLIPS / Linda Cherie

Aged 33 years

Resident of Mangere

Warrants have been issued for their arrest. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these two suspects is urged to contact police immediately.
