Serious crash near Warkworth

Police are investigating a serious road crash on Sandspit road near to Warkworth.
Shortly after 5.30am police were told that a car had collided with a tree on Sandspit Road,1.5 kilometres from the township.
The driver from the car is suspected to have broken his legs. A Helicopter has been called to transport this person to hospital.
Serious crash investigators are making their way to the scene.
The road is partially closed and people travelling from sandspit are advised to either delay their journey or face delays.
