Death in Tasman District

Location of incident: Carters Beach Westport.

At about 8.20pm on Wednesday 1st April 2009 a well known local man, David William SKINNER, was found deceased on Schadick Avenue, Carters Beach.
Mr Skinner aged 53years was the Buller Port Manager.
The cause of death is unexplained and Police are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of his death. The matter has been referred to the coroner.
