Fatal train incident in Wellington

A 42 year old woman was struck and killed earlier this evening by a northbound Trans Metro passenger train as it travelled between the Redwood and Tawa Train Stations.
All trains have been suspended while emergency services are in attendance at the scene.
The incident is still under investigation.
