Traffic advise in Central District

Incident type: Traffic advise

Police request that motorist take care when travelling on the roads over the Easter Break. Currently the conditions over State Highway One, the Desert Road are not ideal for driving with sleety snow showers falling.
There are also some delays with traffic travelling north out of Wellington city. These delays are as a result of traffic volumes and will clear over time.
