Escaped Prisoner in Auckland City

Auckland Police are presently looking for a male who has escaped from Auckland Central Police Station at 11.20 am on Friday 17th April 2009.
This male is a Heath Matehare. He is described as a male Maori approximately 183 cm in height of solid build. He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve t-shirt and over the top was wearing a black t-shirt with white writing on the front and dark jeans.
A arrest warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Any sightings of this person Police ask that people contact Police immediately and not to approach this male.
