Incident type: Suspicious Fire

Police attended an incident on Amreins Road, Waitakere after receiving a call advising that shots had been fired and that there was a suspicious fire on a neighbouring property. Attending officers have confirmed that there was a rubbish fire in which a number of aerosol cans had exploded. The fire Service have extinguished the fire, and there were no further cause for concern.
