Wounding With Intent in Manurewa

Police are currently investigtating a domestic related wounding which occurred in Manurewa this evening.
The female victim is currently in hospital with serious wounds to the neck area but these are not believed to be life threatening.
Police are also interviewing a number of other persons in relation to the matter and are not looking for anyone further.
Counties Manukau CIB are investigating.

Clarification purposes.
The media release of 22:00 advising of a domestic wounding in Manurewa where the victim was female is NOT the same incident as that previously released at 19:30.
Counties Manukau are now dealing with two serious wounding matters.
The Manurewa incident occurred in a private address, was domesitc related and Police are seeking no further persons.
