"Spring clean" in Turangi this autumn

The annual maintenance clean of Turangi’s town structures and mall pavement will be carried out over the next 10 days.

The cleaning is carried out by two specialist contractors: one cleaning glass and steel structures, while the other is responsible for the pavement.

The pavement clean involves waterblasting with hot water to remove chewing gum and accumulated grime, applying resealing agents to the Tauhara flagstones, and resurfacing the terrazzo pavement strips and flagstones with an anti-slip treatment. The pavement work will be done after hours to avoid disruption to retail premises.
