Report of stabbing in Gisborne in Eastern District, 5:45am

Police are investigating a reported stabbing in Gisborne at 4.20am this morning.

The investigation is at a very early stage.

Police are speaking to a number of people and the situation is unclear. A male victim is being treated at hospital.
