Fatal Crash in Northland District, 9:00am

At about 0900hrs a van left the road and hit a bank near the intersection of SH12 and Waihue Rd, Mamaranui.

The single occupant of the vehicle is deceased.

Emergency services are at the scene.

Northbound traffic will be diverted onto Parore West Road onto Opanake Rd. South bound traffic will be diverted onto Opanake Road north of Maropio.
