Bodies identified in Christchurch - Operation Nikau

Christchurch Police have formally identified the two persons found dead at a city address on 8 May 2009. They were Tala SELENI, aged 55 years and Melissa Nina ADCOCK, aged 32 years. Post-mortem examinations completed today established both persons died as a result of injuries they had sustained. Police will not be commenting about the nature of those injuries.
Information helpful to the investigation has come from a number of persons that Police have spoken with. These include relatives of the deceased and neighbours to the address where the incident occurred.
At this time Police are not seeking the whereabouts of any other person in connection with the deaths. Should any member of the public have information that may assist the Police, they are asked to phone 03 363 7400.
