Calling all stratford young people

Do you seek fun, excitement and new challenges? Are you someone who is passionate about the youth of Stratford and aged between 12 and 24?

If this is you then you might be perfect to become a Stratford District Youth Councillor.

The Stratford District Youth Council exists primarily to address the needs of the youth of Stratford, and often does so through youth-focussed events. Recent events include a youth art competition, quiz nights, road safety forums and youth week activities.

The Youth Council meets twice a month, on the first and third Tuesdays. Applications are now open for the 2009-2010 term, and you can fill out a form from one of the existing councillors, the Stratford Library, your school or from the Stratford District Council by 31 May. Those interested will have an interview and orientation night on 2 June.
