Bank robbery in Auckland City District, 2:45pm 15 May

About 2.45 pm on Friday 15 May 2009 there was an armed robbery at the Westpac Bank in Parnell Road.

A lone offender threatened staff with a firearm and demanded money.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The offender was seen taking off on foot into Cracroft Street across the road from the bank.
