WELLINGTON

Police are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing person by the name of Brian Rogers.

Rogers is 46yrs old but suffers an intellectual disability, meaning he has the mental age of a 6 or 7 yr old child.

He has not been seen since late April 2009.

Rogers is a 175cm tall Caucasian male with a very thin/frail build. He has thinning hair which is bald right through the centre. He is known to often wear blue clothing with sneakers - and carries a green backpack.

In the past week, Rogers is believed to have been in the Stokes Valley and Central Wellington (city) areas.
Anyone who sees Rogers is asked to contact the Wellington Police on 381 2000.
