Fatal car crash in Southern District, 11:00am

At 0945hrs this morning there was a two car crash between Edendale and Invercargill on SHW1.

One person has died as a result of the crash and all emergency services are attending the scene.

No further details of the crash will be known for some time and further media releases will be made from Invercargill Police.
