Missing 19-year-old female located near Waikuku

Search teams have located a missing 19 year old Christchurch female who had been reported lost in a forest area near Waikuku, just north of Christchurch City.
The missing girl became seperated from her three companions at about 1700hrs on Monday evening and was reported missing to the Police at about 1930hrs. A full serach and rescue operation was in operation by 2100hrs and the female was located at 0315hrs on Tuesday morning.
After becomming seperated she had lost her bearing in the forest area and in the dark seeing lights in the distance walked towards them until becomming stuck in a swamp area where she stayed until located by the Police teams.
She was cold and wet but otherwise safe.
18 personal were involved in the search including two dog search teams.
