AGG ROBBERY in Canterbury District, 8:00am

Police have charged a 30 year-old unemployed male with the Aggravated Robbery of the Blenheim Road Tavern, Riccarton, Christchurch which occurred on the 9th of December 2008.

The arrested male is due to next re appear at the Christchurch District Court on the 28th of May 2009 in relation to the Aggravated Robbery and other non related Burglary charges.

Police are still looking to identify a second male offender believed to have been present at the scene of the Aggravated Robbery.

No one was injured in the Aggravated Robbery.

The identity of the second male offender still sought by Police is described as:

* Either Polynesian or Maori male.

* Medium height.

* Medium build.

* Wearing a pair of black jeans.

* Wearing a blue coloured top of some description.
