Burger King assault victim in critrical condition

Timaru Police are continuing the investigation into the assault that occurred outside Burger King Timaru on 31st May 2009.

The victim's condition is still described as critical. We will release further details at a more appropriate time.
A 28 year old Timaru male arrested for the assault will be appearing in the Timaru District Court at a later date.
We have interviewed a number of people already and investigations are continuing.
