18-year-old hunter dies near Geraldine

An 18 year old male has died while hunting in the Mt Peel area near Geraldine - South Canterbury.
His body was located shortly after 1730hrs by helicopters used in the search.
He was hunting in the area by himself and nobody else is being sought. The matter is being referred to the Coroner and NO further details will be released until Tuesday.
