Serious Crash in Waikato District, 6:30pm 4 Jun

Police are still at the scene of a serious crash on State Highway 27 Waharoa, near the Matamata Aerodrome.
This crash involved 2 vehicles and one of the occupants has serious injuries and has been transported to hospital for treatement.

This area of the State Highway will be closed for approximately the next 1 1/2 hours.

There are road diversions in place for motorists. For motorists travelling north of the scene are to travel west along Walton Road and then into Landsdowne Road and back onto State Highway 27. Motorists travelling south of the scene are to go east along Wardville Road and then into Alexandra Road and back onto State Highway 27.
