Serious Injury Crash in Northland District

At approximately 9.30 pm on Sunday the 7th June 2009 a 16 year old male was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash on Hokianga Road, Dargaville.

The vehicle crashed into a power pole and the unrestrained youth was thrown from the vehicle.

He was flown to Auckland Hospital with a significant head injury. He remains in a critical condition.

Police enquiries are continuing into this accident and appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the Dargaville Police.
