Aggravated robbery in Auckland City District, 8:00pm

About 3.05pm a male armed with a small axe walked into the ASB bank (corner of Dominion and Richardson Rds) Mt Roskill. He told the male teller to hand over money and the teller complied.

The offender ran out of the bank and got into a silver subaru reg DHE 894, which drove off. This vehicle comes back as a vehicle stolen from Mt Roskill on todays date.

No one was injured during the agg robbery.

There were approx 6 staff and one customer inside the bank at the time.

Offender described as a male maori/poly, 18-19 years, med build, 5ft 9, wearing blue hoody, tan coloured trousers, white sneakers. File being held by Detective Sergeant Joe AUMUA Avondale CIB.

Too early to say if this is linked to other Agg Robbery at Kiwibank Dominion Rd.
