land slip in Bay of Plenty District, 4:50pm

Land slip Waioeka Gorge.

A land slip has ocurred on State Highway 2 about 15 kilometres south of Waioeka Pa Road.

Police are present and vehicles are currently being allowed through, however passing the slip is becoming more difficult.

Transit have been advised and are en route to assist with road clearance.
