Suspect arrested for 3 bank robberies in Auckland City

Robbery of ASB Bank St Lukes on the 13.06.2009, the Robbery of the National Bank, New Market on the 14.06.2009 and the Robbery of the Post Shop on Dominion Road on the 09.06.2009.
Avondale Police have arrested an 18 year old male in relation to the Robberies of the ASB Bank St Lukes on the 13.06.2009, the Robbery of the National Bank Newmarket on the 14.06.2009 and the Robbery of the Post Shop Dominion Road, Mount Eden on the 09.06.2009.
The male will appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow to a face a number of charges.
A Police investigation team working out of Avondale is continuing to work on these robberies and other bank robberies that have occurred in the area.
