Bank robbery in Waitemata District, 1:45pm 17 Jun

About 1.45 pm on 17 June the Post Shop at Mokoia Road, Birkenhead was robbed by a person who handed over a note to the teller demanding money.

He was given an amount of money and ran from the bank.

He was located by police a short distance away in another street.

All the money was recovered.

A 16 year old youth was arrested.
