Arrest in Wanaka after fires

 Wanaka Police have arrested a 33 year old Wanaka man for lighting fires in Telecom junction boxes in Wanaka.

The male will face four charges of Arson which relate to four fires lit last Thursday and Friday night causing considerable damage and inconvenience to the Wanaka community.

He will appear in the Alexandra District Court on Friday.
