Aggravated Burglary 16.06.09 Arrest made.
Following the Aggravated Burglary of a West Auckland home on the 16th of June 2009, Waitakere Detectives executed search warrants in Henderson and in Edgecumbe.
A 37 year old Edgecumbe male has been arrested and will appear in the Whakatane District Court on Monday the 22nd June 2009.
The unemployed male will face charges of Aggravated Burglary, Kidnapping and Indecent Assault. The male has also been charged with using the victim's credit card.
Detective Sergeant Roger Small of the Waitakere Police stated: 'Significant progress has been made during the investigation and it was pleasing to be able to advise the victim of the arrest'.
No further comment will be made at this stage.
