Truck Crash in Waikato District, 6:00am

Police are presently at the scene of a truck crash at Kopu-hikuai road state highway 25A Coromandel.

A logging truck has left the road at the above location. Nil persons are injured, but the road will be closed between Thames and Tairua mainly due to black ice.

It is expected to be closed for approximately 2 hours. All routes are via coromandel and or Waihi/Whangamata.

Will advise when the road is open.
