About 11am this morning a lone male entered the Worcester Street Tavern, on Worcester Street west of Stanmore Road, with a gun and demanded a sum of money from the female employee and an elderly male customer.

On being handed money he left over the rear fence and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

He is described as of average build. He was wearing a balaclava and sunglasses, baggy dark trackpants and dark shoes. On top he had several sweatshirts, one with a hood and the top one had a pocket in front.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Greg Beer phone 3637752.
