Aggravated Robbery in Eastern District, 7:30am

At about 7.30am Two males held up Two security Staff who were making cash deiveries in Heretaunga Street East in Hastings.

The male offender have presented a pistol at the security guard and hit one of the guards on the head with a pistol.

The offenders have then stolen a black pelican cash case on wheels containing cash, and left in a stolen dark coloured Subaru Legacy.

The vehicle stolen in Hastings on the 14th June was found burnt out behind the Mayfair Shops in Hastings a few minutes after the robbery.
