fatal house fire in Counties Manukau District, 10:00pm

Police and Fire are in attendance at a house fire in High Street Otahuhu.

Upon arrival at 11.40p.m. a person was found to be deceased in the address.

Victim Support are speaking with local residents and a Police scene guard has been established to secure the scene until morning when the deceased will be removed and a scene examination conducted by the CIB.
