Train fatality in Auckland City District, 3:00pm

Police and Ambulance are attending a fatality at the Newmarket train station.

At about 1.15pm an Elderly male has stumbled and fallen under a train resulting in his death.

Police are speaking to a number of witnesses at the scene.

The identity of the victim at this stage is unknown.
