Vehicle Collision Ngauranga Gorge

Police attended a vehicle collision this morning at Ngauranga Gorge.

The collision involved a southbound car and motorbike at about 7.10am. The southbound centre lane was blocked while emergency services attended.

A traffic queue formed with a tail as far back as Johnsonville. This has now eased as both lanes are now clear and open to traffic. The motorbike rider was taken to Wellington Hospital with injuries.
