Worth Investigation Complaint Withdrawn

Wellington Police confirm that a criminal complaint against former MP, Dr Richard Worth, has been formally withdrawn.

At no time did Police suggest to the complainant that she should withdraw her complaint.

Police will need to assess all the information we have to bring the file to a state of finality.

No further media comment will be made until this process is complete.

Dr Worth's lawyer has been advised of these developments.
