Lorraine Copeman wins $50,000 to live like a star

Mother of six, grandmother of 17 and Waihi local, Lorraine (aka Pam) Copeman is thanking her lucky stars as the winner of the Tip Top Lick and Live like a Star on pack promotion and the recipient of $50,000!

As major sponsor of TVNZ’s 2009 season of Star’s in Their Eyes, Tip Top ran a on pack promotion on all 2L tubs and family packs in stores across the country, giving customers the chance to ‘watch and win’ $50,000 and thousands of other instant prizes in their ‘Lick and Live like a Star’ promotion.

It goes without saying that Lorraine is ecstatic about her win. She plans to spend her winnings on a long awaited holiday to the South Island to visit her large extended family and a few other luxuries along the way, including a new car, bed and cell phone.

“I was so surprised when I found out I’d won. I always look forward to my bowl of Tip Top Monkey Business in front of the TV for Stars in Their Eyes each week, but I never expected to win!” says Lorraine, Tip Top $50,000 prize winner. “This money will make such a difference in my life, I plan to keep most of the money in Waihi and I’m sure I’ll get noticed around town in the new car I plan to buy, all thanks to my ice cream addiction and Tip Top!”
