Robbery ANZ Bank Albany

North Shore CIB are investigating the robbery of the Albany ANZ on Mercari Way Albany this afternoon.

At about 2.05p.m. this afternoon a sole male caucasian wearing a fawn/brown long sleeve jumper with thin black horizontal stripes and a blue/grey baseball cap entered the bank.

He demanded cash and inferred he was in possession of a firearm. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen but no injuries were sustained in the incident. The male then left the bank on foot toward Corinthian Drive carrying a black strapped satchel.

Police are appealing to the public who may be able to assist with sightings of this person about the time of the robbery or with any information regarding the identity of the person or clothing.
