Man charged over assault

A 30 year old male will appear in the Christchurch District Court this morning charged with Wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to the assault on the 19 year old man found in Chancery Lane on the morning of Friday, 10 July 2009.

The 19 year old is still in hospital but not in a serious condition.
