Man charged at bedside hearing

Earlier this evening Police investigating a shooting of a 36 year old male on Monday in the Point Chevalier area, charged the alleged offender with possession of an offensive weapon and assault with a weapon during a Auckland District Court bed side hearing at the Auckland Hospital.

The alleged offender has been remanded on bail to appear in the Auckland District Court on the 19th August.
