Police appeal for witnesses to fatal car vs cyclist on Leeston Rd

Hornby Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal accident between a motor vehicle and a bicycle on Leeston Road (also known as the Leeston Springston Road), between Goulds Road and Bethels Road on Thursday 6 August 2009 between 6 pm and 7.30 pm.

They are particularly interested in the movements of a 1995 dark blue BMW 325I motor vehicle which is believed to have left Rolleston sometime after 6 pm on Thursday 6 August travelling towards Leeston.
