Woman found running on Southern Motorway
At approx 17:59 hours this afternoon an elderly Samoan female was located running along the Southern motorway after entering from the princes street otahuhu on ramp.
Despite enquiries police have not been able to locate her home address and she is currently at the emergency department at Middlemore hospital who have offered to assist until family can be located or report her as missing.
The woman says she was born in 1928, and has given the name of maliu/tesa .
She was able to advise that she arrived in the country approximately one month ago
The woman wearing a burgundy polar fleece, has a red Samoan shirt underneath with a grey Samoan lava-lava with red underneath and wearing khaki green sandals.
She is about 5"3 - 5"5 and is of slim build. She has chin length straight grey hair and is slim build. She
has long nails - slightly stained yellow. Does not speak any English.
